I’m Lisa Nicole Rosado — entrepreneur, eternal optimist, and winged liner-loving Virgo Latina originally from the Bronx!
And, I’m the Founder and Chief Motivator of We Are Women Owned.
We Are Women Owned is many things, but most importantly, it’s a SISTERHOOD.
A place where women small business owners can come to feel seen, heard, and unconditionally supported by an army of brilliant, powerful women just like them!
WAWO was founded on the belief that we are stronger together, and there’s enough success to go around.
Owning a business is for the full of heart.
And it doesn’t have to be isolating, crazy-making, or cutthroat.
Being a part of the WAWO community means that when the loneliness starts to wash over you after you’ve been locked in your apartment for a week with just your inventory and your laptop, there is someone to talk to who gets it.
When you don’t know what move to make next, there’s someone to share resources and help you problem solve.
And when you have a big win to celebrate, you have a circle of sisters ready to fete your success IN REAL LIFE!
“Because of WAWO, I was able to secure a sponsored space for my launch event via one of the attendees. Even without that, I got a ton of value just being around so many brilliant, powerful, talented lady entrepreneurs. Saturday was aaaaamazing!!! As soon I got out of the elevator and into the beautiful space the energy was so positive, I had a feeling it was only going to be up from there and boy, was I right.”
Helping you build a thriving life and business is my life’s work and greatest joy.
My path has been a windy one, but I trusted myself through the process and let my intuition lead the way…
When I chose acting over business in college…
When a corporate job left me wondering how I could ever be successful without a competitive bone in my body…
When I started my first business after a decade in retail and felt kinda lonely…
I reached out and kept looking up.
I saw how we level-up as women and business owners when we have a sister there who can walk with us through the challenging days and big decisions.
We get there faster together. That’s why We Are Women Owned.
“Just wanted to reiterate in case you have not heard it today: what you do is so important. I felt so welcomed yesterday and left feeling so loved and uplifted. Thank you for creating that.”
